Environmental specialist.

Focused on water quality, hydrology, hydrogeology and environmental monitoring.

I combine field monitoring, hydrochemistry, R-based data analysis and GIS to support evidence-based water-resource protection and management.

Experienced in coordinating field campaigns, handling complex environmental datasets and working across interdisciplinary teams.

Fieldwork · Laboratory work · Presenting statistical analyses · GIS

What I bring

Water-quality monitoring

Sampling and assessment of surface water, groundwater, soil water and precipitation; monitoring design, field equipment and quality-focused fieldwork.

Hydrochemistry and environmental analysis

Experience with nutrient dynamics, nitrate sources and transport, contaminant hydrology, stable isotopes and interpretation of hydrochemical data.

Data analysis and GIS

R, MySQL, time-series analysis, geostatistics, Bayesian mixing models, data visualisation, ArcGIS and spatial-data workflows.

Projects and collaboration

Field-campaign coordination, technical and scientific reporting, project organisation and communication with interdisciplinary and international partners.

Ready for applied environmental work

I bring scientific depth together with the reliability, communication and practical judgement needed in environmental administration and operational teams.

  • Cantonal-office experience: worked in a Swiss cantonal office in St. Gallen and understand the practical context of public environmental work.
  • German-language work: experienced working in German, communicating with colleagues and stakeholders, and preparing clear written documentation.
  • Reliable delivery: used to structured deadlines, technical reports, project deliverables, data documentation and accurate follow-up.
  • Laboratory and field practice: trained in environmental protection and hydrogeology, with practical laboratory analysis and extensive field equipment experience.
  • Continued development: MSc in Environmental Protection with a hydrogeology specialisation, postgraduate EHS management and further training in statistics, GIS, groundwater modelling and scientific writing.
  • Selected scale: monitoring across five Swiss catchments, 2,800+ samples and 8,000+ stream observations.
